SC earn on upgraded IB flight

Have been offered upgrades on an IB flight (2 hr flight) for €42 each.

Not sure it's worth it since I've already paid €14 each for exit row seats. But if it would earn J SCs with QF it would change things. Does anyone know what the earn would be?

Or does the route now show up?

Just have to make sure your new ticket class is a points earning fare bucket Frequent Flyer - Flying Qantas and Partner Airlines - Flying with Qantas & Jetstar - Earning Qantas Points

Wouldn’t any upgrades still only earn the SC’s applicable to the original fare?

As mentioned by Jase05 above, I wouldn't have thought that paid upgrades would earn the J/subclass of J SC on QF partners.
OT> I did upgrade with a bid offer on VA PER - MEL a while back, and only ever got the SC earn on the fare I paid.

That is what I'm asking, yes. Was hoping someone would have actual experience as I can't find any mention of it on the IB site.
