Not sure if i am just somebody who complains or someone who likes to see things improved (if they can be)

i have pointed out to lounge staff over the past couple of years, the near impossible task of taking food from the rear row on the salad (cold food) server in most lounges, if you are a little bit tall you nearly have to kneel down or kiss the top glass to be able to reach the back row, why dont QF make the salad serving area only 3 deep and a little bit wider?.

I even suggested this to the staff in Perth a long time before the new lounge (recently opened) even started building, but i have not been back over there to see if they listened to my suggestion.

Any other personal experiences re this?

Sorry, title should be SALAD BAR

I thought the Saad Bar was for Arabian drinks (Saad meaning happiness)

This is actually a good point. In the ADL QP it is a distinct advantage to be double jointed to reach the back row of the food offerings, if you are of a certain height.

Re: Saad bar in qf lounges

I'm not tall but still find it very difficult to reach particular items. You also get food from the back bowls dropping into the front bowls, people using the same utensils for multiple items etc, which doesn't worry me but for people with dietary restrictions this would be annoying I'm sure. The best setup is to allow people to walk around the salad bar - noting the space restraints and that it makes it harder to replenish food. Or have a dedicated server for the back items. All costly so I guess that's why nothing changes.
