Luckily enough to have accumulated more QFF points than normal, with many thanks to the advice from AFF.

Looking to celebrate major birthdays and anniversaries by blowing 840K QFF points on a F dream trip.

My thinking would be a RTW ticket, but unsure of where to go.

If this was you what routes / airlines would you fly to maximise the experience.

Good use of points! I've recently blown 420k points on a trip to Europe and back with 3 x F segments. My dates were not too flexible so was happy to at least pick up the three with everything else in J.

If I was trying to maximize the F experience I'd start with something like SYD-LHR-HND-HKG-LAX-SYD using QF JL and CX.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Don't think there are many F flights out of Perth so you'll have to base yourself either in MEL/SYD. I'll do the following:
PER-SYD-LAX-LHR-HND-HKG-BKK-DOH-MEL all in F except the first leg in J; MEL-PER (own expenses given the last leg has exceeded the 35,000 miles limit) using QF, BA, JL, CX and QR

One good thing about Global Explorer is that you could pause the trip and continue later on (within 12 months). If time is a factor, I'll consider the following:
PER-MEL-DOH-BKK-HKG;break;HKG-HND-LHR-LAX-SYD

The usual suspects - Qantas, Cathay, Japan Airlines. And a trans-atlantic on British Airways so you have access to the Concorde Room at London.

CCR is so overrated compared to other First Lounges worldwide. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to do it. And BA 'First'? More like Business class with food and service levels to match.

Thumbs up to CX JL and QF.

I dunno who else to fly trans-atlantic with? I like AA F, although many would say it's probably on par with BA. But no CCR.

Couldn't agree more BA first looks more like business on other carriers, think I would still give it a go...

You can book QF first out of Perth, but it is a re-branded Emirates and then changes to a QF2 in Dubai ....

Please note that the ticket is not a RTW if you are wanting to redeem points for a OneWorld Award in F. This has distinct advantages- you could take CX F HKG-LHR then back, and then to NYC (i haven't checked the mileage on that). I'd definitely be starting elsewhere though, possibly from HKG so you can have 2 trips with the single ticket.

If only QR flew their A380 to the US, would make for a great F option I'd imagine.
