After much hunting and gathering....Just booked RTW Business class flight for self and partner using points on Q and BA in August/September 2020. Keen to get peoples thoughts about flying the Perth to London leg in business. Hoping its a dream....hell of a long flight....hoping to keep it much shorter with a few drinks and a good snooze.

Is your question about finding award availability on PER-LHR or what the flight experience is like?

I presume that when you say RTW Business Class on points you are referring to a OneWorld Award? -https://www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/community/threads/oneworld-award-132-4k-249-6k-318k-455k-planning-the-definitive-thread.8228/

If so, be aware that there is no requirement to go RTW.

Did you snare Award J seats on QF9 PER-LHR? I thought they were basically non-existent.

We’ve done the return flight Perth London two years in a row, just in economy. No problems whatsoever, much better than sitting around Dubai airport for a few hours. No complaints at all.
