Reward seats on Virgin America (VX) - baggage allowance

Hi all,

I've just booked two flights for my parents on VX - SFO-SAN in Y and LAX-SFO in J.

Confirming details regarding actual baggage allowance on either of these flights is proving more difficult than booking a VA SYD-LAX reward J seat less than 329 days from departure.

Does anyone have any experience with regard to baggage allowance in these circumstances?

If you simply booked through VX the Y fare is no included baggage with each 22kg (50lb) standard bag US$25 each and the J fare (First Class) is 2 x 22kg (50lb) bags included.
