Hey folks,

New to Asia Miles and just trying to get my head around how it all works and would appreciate any input.

As I understand I need to do a redemption request form to confirm reward availability on Malaysian Airlines.

Looking at an economy MEL-KUL flight which I can see one seat available via QF website for my date.

Looking at transferring some points from ANZ Rewards to Asia Miles but probably won't unless I can get this flight... The other issue is according to ANZ Rewards site, it can take up to 18 days for the points to appear in the AM account ?? Anyone had experience with speedier timelines than the "up to 18 days" ??

Any advice much appreciated... thx in advance

If a flight is showing as available using the Qantas website, you should also be able to book the same flight with Asia Miles. Rather than using the online request form, you can call Asia Miles to confirm availability and/or make a booking.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
