Hi folks

my partner is considering using a relocation car rental service one way in Australia, from Canberra to Ballina.

Does anyone have any tips as to what to look for / hidden costs / reliability etc etc.

How do they compare with regular rental companies etc?

Thanks (and oh I couldn't see this in any other posts, but if it's there... a direction would also be helpful).

Stu

Ballina is not a destination I have often seen on the one way listings, however try standbycars, com.au

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Maybe take the car back to either Byron bay or maybe better deal back to Gold Coast...

Dad recently hired an Avis 6-litre V8 for about $50 to go from Surfers Paradise to BNE, saved me driving him to the airport late at night. So I guess deals can be found.

Sam, how did he manage to get it so cheap? Online or did he call or just rock up?

The caprices are only available at SYD/BNE and MEL airport and downtown locations, so I would say they were keen to get it back to where it belonged!
