Red Energy referral 15,000 QF points [now 7,000 or $100]

Thanks @docjames. I've used your referral. I think they mentioned it's a David Jones/JB Hi-fi type of voucher so we'll see what we get.

My account number is 7039463 if anyone would like a referral. Thanks in advance if anyone uses my referral.

I used your number John :)
Thanks

Thanks @Caito.

I used hopefulQFF’s number to sign up In December. Hope you got the voucher. I haven’t got mine yet. Wonder if this is unusually long?
The 10,000 QFF points have already posted but no sign of $50 voucher.

Email just landed with redemption code for voucher. Thanks @JohnK

As i've just been billed for my quarterly bill (yesterday) I wonder if the two processes are linked somehow? May just be coincidence.

For what it’s worth I just dumped Red Energy for AGL and will be saving hundreds a year as a result. I assume everyone has closely compared other energy companies to ensure they are not paying a lot extra just for the points.

When I did my latest energy comparison, I moved across to Momentum Energy, their published credit offer and market rates were the cheapest on offer in Victoria. YMMV

I'm no longer with Red Energy so my customer number is no longer valid for a referral

Yes, best option of any company i'd ever heard of. There were one or two that were ~ $10pa (yes, pa) cheaper eg. Sumo.

Still no $50 voucher.

I have received a $30 wine voucher for switching to Red Energy. Must be used by midnight tonight. Doesn't appear to have spend limit. Buy one or buy a dozen.

Is this a standard offering?

Sumo Energy have had quite a number of unfavourable reviews by customers. Quote a low price then increase their tariff a few months after people switch to them.

I haven't heard about that one.

I've checked Qantas wines today. The code works. The cheapest purchase is ~$41 for a dozen x 187ml bottles of red + $7 for delivery and also earning 1,000 QFF points or ~$48 for a dozen x 200ml bottles of sparkling + $7 delivery and also earning 1,000 QFF points.

After a lot of examination of the offer, I just made the leap and switched to RED from Powershop as the pricing was almost identical and the points are a good sweetener! I only get 10,000 points as we have bottled gas in our area.

The staff were good but as its a long time since I have done this sort of thing I was amazed by the level of verifications that went on even after I had signed up.

Of note, and something I haven't seen in the forums here (or received email notification) is that there is a new offer for people signing up before the end of March to go into a draw to to receive 250,000 points. Handy!

PS There are actually 2 points offers...

I signed up last year and got a notification today that I had been entered into the 250,000 point draws.

I got my $50 e-gift card today, thanks John.
My number if anyone is looking at signing up #7098676
I compared them on their 10% discount plan (2 points per $1) and it worked out the same as I was paying with a bonus of points + can pay via AMEX for more points

If anyone is also looking for a red energy referral number, mine is: #6264092

I've been using them for 18 months now and been pretty happy with the rates and service - on a solar plan.

Was with Lumo previously (for a few years) and only switched to Red due to how they split up their customer base across states - they both have the same parent (Snowy Hydro).

I did try Powershop for a while and don't have anything bad to say.. it just turned out to be a bit more confusing to understand how it all worked and ultimately the Red pricing worked out to be very similar based on our usage (because of solar + battery..)

I received an email a while back with a gift card code. It didn't work so I sent them an email. A few days later I got the same email with the same code. So I wrote to them again.

Today I got an email with 6 (count them - six!) gift card codes. o_O

Thank you to everyone who has used my code recently.
