Rates of earning SCs on Singapore flights booked via Virgin

OK, really confused about what fare codes corespond with what earn level (as per the Status Earns Tables on the Velocity website). Specifically, I want the Mr and myself to take a trip to Singapore, and I want to maximise my status credits earn without resorting to paying too much for the fares. Given that the Status Earns Tables have the categories “Discount Economy” and “Full Fare Economy” but the flight booking on Virgin shows “Elevate”, “Freedom” and so forth, how do I figure out which corresponds to which? If I book the “Freedom” fares, does that equate to “Full Fare Economy”, therefore earning 60 SCs per person per sector?

Freedom fare class - Full Fare Economy

Thank you. Booking via Singapore Airlines website or the Virgin one shouldn’t affect the earn rate, I’m guessing?

Also, if booked on the VA site, can I upgrade to Business using points?

If you book using SQ flight numbers (direct or via a TA) -

Economy Lite and Economy Standard - Discount Economy
Economy Flexi - Full Fare Economy

You do not earn any status bonuses on points earn if you do not book on the VA codeshare.

You cannot upgrade the VA codeshare flights at all. You can only upgrade some SQ fares through KF and then if available by one class only (Y->PE if PE is available).

Generally better to book an award flight via KF.

I was just looking at VA site...from what I can understand the Freedom Fare (flight code KZFDASER) should give 60 SCs per sector? Sorry, to be so thick about this but just trying to make sure I get the SCs I need.

What cities are you flying between?

I would assume BNE and SIN. If so, yes you should earn 60 SC each way on a K class Freedom fare.
