Every year in the past I have been able to buy a ticket in advance for the Reading-Heathrow bus for the day of my travel, paid for online and sent by email. This year for the first time the old site diverts to FirstBus, which still sells the tickets but won't allow me to proceed with purchase without a UK address. There is no option to select "overseas" and they don't need the address anyway given that the e-ticket is sent by email. After some searching I found an email address for them and have sent a request for help, but meanwhile has anyone else encountered this problem and found a workaround? It used to be so easy!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

If the ticket is delivered by email, then choose a random address. One common one that is high on the comedy value is the Queen's London HQ:
Buckingham Palace SW1A 1AA

If this sort of workaround doesn't exist (credit card validation could fail), then I have appropriate address/credit cards etc and can sort on your behalf.

Whenever I needed it for something I just put in the local hotel address - they are never going to send anything to you anyway

Thanks, both Mal and VPS. I might try my sister's address in Wales, as I'll be staying as with her before this journey anyway. But it won't match my UK debit card address which is in Melbourne. If that doesn't work, and I don't receive a reply to my email enquiry, then it is possible to pay the driver by contactless credit or debit card (which mine is) on boarding - but that's sure to cost more.

Edited to update: my sister's address worked, no card query raised, so all is well; online booking competed and ticket emailed. Once again I am grateful for the ready help always offered on this forum.
