Quick question - when does the F check in at MEL open in the morning?

Catching QF29 (departing 11:25) on Tuesday, and I am still QF Plat (alas, Mr Falconea has dropped back to Gold) and want to make the most of the FLounge.

What time can we check in? Have in the past been caught by the F check in not being open.

Mr Falconea called QF and they were unable to give him an answer!

IME usually about 3 hours before the flight, sometimes they have it opened for earlier flights... QF 171 departing 1030

Have been early to MEL (non-transit) and went to the QF service desk nearby when the F desk was not open, they could not open the flight on one occasion (not sure why? given reason about immigration controls...) so had to wait till the 3 hour period. Other times they made some calls and said immigration had opened it for check in, so got through slightly earlier than 3 hours
