I've just flown Jetstar for the first time with the extra bundle plus option where you get FF points for the flight - anyone know how long the points take? It is slower than flying a QF flights but I should hope that it would be faster than their partner airlines seeing as its a subsidiarity I asked the CSM on the flights and she had no idea!

Maybe never
It's slower than QF but if mine hasn't posted within a week I scan and email my BP to QFF and its sorted within a day or two.
It's very common IME to have to chase JQ points and SC

It seems as if you haven't seen the points within 2-3 days, you will be waiting up to 8 weeks for them to appear.
Both airlines have separate systems, and use this as an excuse!

My last 2 flights with Jetstar took 1 day and 7 days for the points to post. 7 days was Y, 1 day was J - don't know if this makes a difference. The day they posted were both Thursdays...

Sounds like it's a bit up in the air.

In here lies the problem. From a QFF point of view, Jetstar is essentially a partner airline.

Of my last 8 JQi and 3K flights, 3 have posted automatically within a week, the remaining 5 having to be manually followed up (plus 2 of my GF flights) the worst of the those being almost 4 months (the best a couple of weeks after the request). On following up 1 of my missing points claims, the QF CS rep suggested if the next one hadn't posted within a week, to file a missing points claim by emailing them the BP (and I would suggest the itinerary also), this matches Princess Fiona's opinion.

Curiost good luck, it may be a simple quick request, or it may require persistence and numerous follow ups!

Jetstar...a Qantas Group Airline....only when it is easy and convenient for us!

As if by magic on posting that question, one JQ flight from Friday has made it in my account. Woop! Now I'm hanging for a DSC easter offer :)

Worst case for me was about three months. I didn't chase them (the SCs weren't important as had already qualified for gold, and was far off platinum) but they did eventually appear. I had checked in online with an e-boarding pass, which might have been the problem.

Most recent trip credited in under a week, with regular airport check in and standard boarding pass.
