I have two queries about Gold fast track.

The first is:

I have already booked 10 nights at a Hilton hotel in London in October. I also want to book 6 nights in Amsterdam, a couple of nights with points. Can I book, say day 3, in my daughter’s name using my points? Or her supplementary credit card? And would this give me 2 stays?

Past promotions have required 4 stays or 10 nights, but the ones I can see on loyalty lobby are all for 4 stays with no mention of nights.

I have a booking at HSW on the 15[SUP]th[/SUP] of July and my first booking in Europe would be for the 12[SUP]th[/SUP] of October. Could I count HSW as one stay as it looks to be within the 3 month requirement?

Alternatively, if my London and Amsterdam bookings gave me 3 stays, I could book a night at the Parmelia so that when I hit London, it would be the fourth stay.

The second question is:
Which promotion do members currently recommend?

1) a. You can add your daughters name to the booking and book it with your points, but it would not class as an additional stay. If you booked totally in your daughters name, it would count as an additional stay, but only to her...not to you and it wouldn't help you achieve that additional stay regardless and in that 2nd scenario, you'd also have to transfer the points to your daughter account to book it.
b. I can't answer the stay/night promo requirement as I do not know.
c. You can count HSW, but only if HH are on the ball with the commencement date. I'm not convinced HH will be able to do that as if they commence it early, you may lose the October booking and if they commence it later, you'd lose the HSW booking. It's a very fine window you're considering there.
d. London and Amsterdam will give you two stays and if you're lucky HSW the third....or Parmelia, but I'm not sure how long the status would take to come through once you've achieved it. I'm also confused as to your itinerary. Are you in London twice? I don't believe Amsterdam will give two stays unless you break the stay by at least a day. Does Amsterdam have more than one Hilton property? if so, you could do a mattress run, which will give multiple stays.
2) I'm not up to date with the promotions, sorry.

Thank you very much for your reply, swanning_it.

I have reread the info on loyalty lobby and I agree it will be difficult to count the HSW stay in July as it is right on the 90-day cut-off before the start of the October trip to Europe.

So to start off, I could book one night at the Parmelia a month or so before we head off to Europe..

I have now thought that our overnight stay in Singapore could be at the Conrad rather than the Crowne Plaza at Changi Airport.

Then in Amsterdam, I thought that I could book 2 nights in my name, the next 2 nights in my daughter’s name with her supplementary card and the last 2 nights in my name again. It may require a change of rooms but that isn’t too much of a problem. Hopefully that would give me the 4 stays I need.

Amsterdam does have a number of properties, but I would far prefer we stayed at the same property for the whole 6 nights.

So then when we arrive for our 10 night stay in London, I should already be gold.

Does that all sound OK?

I don't think the Amsterdam stay will count for anything more than one stay, unless you change hotel. HH Ts&Cs fairly clearly state that consecutive nights (regardless of the number of bookings) in the same hotel counts as one stay. So you're thinking of putting the middle stay in your daughters name. If so, it would count as a stay for your daughter. If it counted as a stay in your account (by whichever means), then it would fall into the HH classification as one stay. They work off account numbers, rather than peoples names.

I will book the middle 2 nights in Amsterdam under my daughter's name with her HHonours number, using a different credit card. Hopefully, that will do the trick.

That will definitely do it. The only link between your bookings and your daughter's is when you first check in, ask to keep the same room for the 2 + 1 bookings.
