QR QPoints from a Qantas Flight

I'm looking to book some flights from melbourne to san francisco, ideally on Qantas. However I am a silver member on Qatar and I think I am probably better off accumulating Qpoints in order to aim for gold with Qatar.

The cheapest economy fare (discount economy) from Melbourne to San Fran via sydney would accrue me 55 SC according to the qantas calculator (this is NOT including the DSC offer as I will not be able to book these flights by tomorrow). Does anybody know how I can figure out how many Qpoints this would earn if I use my privilege account instead of my qantas account?

I attempted to speak to qatar privilege club on the phone but they weren't particularly helpful.

Yeah I saw that... I guess im just worried that SFO isnt on there so is there a chance if im flying to SFO I won't get anything? then I may as well credit to qantas
