There is an extra flight to Melbourne at 10.10pm from Melbourne (leaves 5 mins after the ace dukes last flight QF497 10.05pm flight to Melbourne).

Anyone know what this is?

I first thought it was a "race special" but flight tracker suggests it has flow all week.

Thoughts? Thanks

And these flights are preceded by QF7345 from BNE etc etc

QF7### are freight flights
QF6### are either charter or ferry flights
QF8### are codeshare EK flights

Extra passenger non charter flights tend to be QF1###


There are also regular freight flights between PER and MEL with an A330.

Yesterday VH-EBJ A330-200 performed a freight mission PER-MEL as QF7391 and then returned to PER as QF7392.
Seems to be regular event. Depart PER at 1930 Arrive MEL at 0230 Arrive PER before 5am
