Have booked CNS/SYD/LAX for Mrs Lime/self. Just booked a QA one way JASA LAX/AUK on the Airbus 300-200 selected seats 2A & 2B (see crew rest seats 1A/1B in front) aware its no 388 or 744 but are these seats as good as most on this aircraft?.

Transfer from QA to AIRNZ flight to CNS at AUK Int. airport is about 1.5 hours guess this is enough time?.

Appears to be separate tickets right?

If you have bags and do not get them checked all the way through then I'd think you might have problems making that connection... (collect bags, clear Customs, check in etc) QANTAS (QF) will not interline to NZ on separate tickets.. so probably best to be prepared for an NZ refusal to do so the other way...

....but I am a little unclear on your plans.. sorry... found it a bit confusing.. so I might have misunderstood...

(BTW Auckland is AKL... for amusement try googling "Airport code AUK"!

First flight is QA to AKL then 2nd flight is to AIRNZ to CNS, so knew can't get bags checked through. I'll be tight, I'll have a chat to them see what they say, other flights available but most go via BNE.

Only going via AKL because was only JASA we could find for return journey in Aug. Be keeping nose to ground and if more direct QFF flights come up like LAX/BNE/CNS will call up and change to latter.

Like to know what best J seats to get on QF26.
