Hi fellow travellers, I was hoping some of you have come across this before.
I am just finalising a multi-city economy flex booking PER-SYD-LAX-DFW-WAS-LAX-SYD-PER and I noticed that when selecting AA flights for the domestic legs within the US I earn more status credits than I do if I select a QF ticket (even when it is the same flight, AA metal).
This seems a bit odd, usually it is the opposite (e.g. EK vs QF tickets on flights to Dubai).
By selecting AA tickets instead of QF tickets for 3 of the flights the total status credits go from 325 to 370.
Does anyone know if this is a 'bug' or a hidden gem?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Cheers,JSS
