Hi,

I'm seeking assistance in planning and eventually booking a reward RTW ticket to Germany or Poland in business class. I'm a QF WP with over 300 000 points.
Planning to depart from Sydney in the first week of July 2016, via USA. I would prefer to avoid LAX, but OK if has to be, Dallas is an option. Would like to visit San Antonio and Chicago, but could go for other cities if it was easier and kept the taxes lower. From USA would like to fly to DUS or CGN or MUC or WAW. Return to SYD first week of October 2016 via any route. Don't mind multiply stopovers.

What's the best way to go about it? Should I call QF Premium as WP and ask for assistance? Don't mind spending few extra points.

Has anybody ever used those "PointPros" or "Flightfox for assistance?

Thank you for your kind help

Suggest you have a bit of a trawl through this thread. Note also the recent threads and posts saying QF bookings to SFO now open for about the time you want to fly, with decent J availability! See here, for instance (but there are other threads on the same topic)

Thanks RooFlyer. One more question before I go there: do I have to book the whole trip at once or can I first book only some legs and add few more later? Never done it before:oops: Thank you.

Don't know, sorry .. I was going to say it all needs to be scheduled when you ticket it (as opposed to booking it), but something in the back of my mind says there is flexibility.

But posting these questions in that thread would get a better informed audience!

Hi Henk,

A oneworld award for 280K points in business class is definitely the way to go!

You don't *have* to book it in one go, but if there is award availability for the flights/dates you want, I would suggest booking before the flights disappear! In particular, I would jump on the SYD-SFO flight now if I were you.

If you do make changes/add flights later, it will cost 5,000 points each time.
