Hello! Recently used Qantas premium economy QF63/QF64. I considered the cabin class a reasonable substitute for business. I managed to get quality sleep both ways. Quiet cabin and good wine. 36J, 36K provide extra room but can be a bit noisy as next to galley. No problems with 38K and J. Only complaint, need a design degree to operate the seat and the foot rest is a bizarre waste of effort.

Yeah it is a nice cabin and I find it more relaxing than economy. You can still get "trapped" in your seat by other people but the experience is much better than economy. Some people disagree with me of course, but everyone is entitled to their opinions.

I like Qantas PE and I think it's a good alternative to business class on day flights. The seat is comfortable, service, food and wine are closer to business while the price is usually closer to economy.
