QF Complimentary Lounge access (passes)

Hi frequent flyers,

Can someone tell me how one acquires QF complimentary lounge passes, please.

I have Lifetime Gold status and have never had a complimentary pass issued to me.

My daughter and her boyfriend are flying PER-BNE-PER in August and I was hoping I could arrange lounge access at PER. When I searched the QF site this is the script;

“You don't currently hold any complimentary invitations.
Lounge invitations are included in certain benefits such as attaining Qantas Frequent Flyer Silver”

So, if you can get them when you become a Silver member why not when you’re Lifetime Gold.

As a gold (lifetime or otherwise) QFFer you already have lounge access, so no need to offer vouchers.

I didn’t adequately explain the situation.

I live in BNE & my daughter will be travelling from PER. I won’t be travelling with them.

If they are not travelling with you then they can't get access.

Note that soliciting for lounge passes on AFF is against the T&Cs, if that is what you are suggesting.

No, it’s not what I’m suggesting! Your assumption that I was soliciting for free passes is totally unfounded!
I was asking a polite unambiguous question hoping someone might be able to answer.

Complimentary invitations are only issued if you achieved Silver in any one year. The passes have an expiry date. It is likely that any complimentary invitations you were entitled to had expired.

Additionally if you achieved gold or above in a year you won’t get any complimentary invitations even if technically you also achieved silver on your way to gold and above. Though if you get to Silver and stop there for a certain period of time in the year before then hitting gold and above, a CI sent be to you.

Note CI are electronically sent, but can be given to another QF FF member

Depending on when they travel, the QF Money cc comes with 2 lounge passes and they appear in yr QF acct very quickly. Application on the QF site.

Edit: if they are flying in August and the cc application is approved there’s plenty of time.

I’ve never seen the CI when I’m requalifying from 0 to WP
