Hopefully someone can answer this - under the old Aquire program it was a condition that to get credited points from flights the business had to book another person by a certain date or something like that - is that still the case or...? I did a high points earning trip a while back but haven't had to send anyone else from the business to anywhere since and I'm a bit worried that the points might disappear if I don't...

Aquire recently rebranded as QF Business Rewards and changed some program rules, including dropping the two flyer rule and 20k locked points barrier. Earn and discounts were tiered (and enhanced).

Seems the rules are easier for smaller businesses so that is an improvement. I am pretty sure our business has run up 6 figures of bonus miles thru this plan.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Joined this the other day to take advantage of the Caltex star card offer. Have been reading through the rules etc and says you can only credit flights that are for business purposes (which obviously makes sense). But how do they know whether a flight is for business if you are a sole trader paying with a personal credit card? And I guess also what are the consequences of trying to claim a personal flight if they don't know?

Exactly.... ;)

Perhaps you travelled to Hawaii for the purpose of seeing your tax accountant. That counts as a business trip right?

Almost ;)

Perhaps you, Mrs NoName and any Jnr NoNames (16 and over) or Senior NoNames or unrelated mentor or..... (I think you get my point) travelled anywhere, any time.....

Junior needs to learning the business, Seniors mentoring the business, Mrs consulting for the business, everyone networking for the business, hand delivering a tender, a prize/reward for attendance/safety/performance.... not that the reason is relevant as business's vary so much.
