I've just booked a domestic QF flight which showed aircraft type as A330 during the search/booking process, but once purchased it shows 737 in MMB. EF is also showing 737.

Has anyone seen this before? If I do a new search the booking engine still shows A330.

I haven't seen this. Maybe you need to call QF.

I had the same thing happen yesterday. I booked a J class MEL/SYD flight which showed as 737 in flight search but during the seat selection process showed A332. Checked EF and it also showed the aircraft correctly as an A332. Actually happy about it, as I prefer 2k on the A332 than on the 737. Cheers

I have no confidence that QF can keep a 330.
If you are really, really, really keen on that 330 seat, and are flexible, get a change to a timeslot that has the 330.
But then, that new time slot showing the 330, can again change.
I love the AN days, when AN had more 767s flying.
Now QF has a limited number of 330s, and VA even less.
I do love the 330, and had to change a J booking 3 times MEL - SYD to nab and keep the 330 seat I originally booked.
Because it was a J booking, or a subclass of it, I wasn't charged a change fee when I rang up 3 times.
In the end, I got my wish though it was hard work.
As an SG wait times were about half an hour on the 3 occasions.

EF is shows every single departure that afternoon/night (after 2pm) as operating a 737.

Seems unlikely to me unless there's maintenance happening. Will call QF closer to the date to work out what's going on..
