Dear Qantas, The nice Jetstar people have introduced a SIN-CRK service departing out of SIN at 2:20AM into CRK at 6AM. It's not an attractive option BUT can it at least be made available as an option through the QF website.

I wonder how to get that to happen?

I flew CRK-SIN over a month ago on a MAX fare. Still no points or SCs. Can't lodge a request to claim missing points online because CRK is not loaded into the table. Two phone calls later, still waiting...

Don’t bother asking. Last time I asked a phone rep about missing city pairs I was told “Well we can’t just add cities that Qantas doesn’t fly to”

Really? Is that the best excuse you can up with? ;)

I guess the last thing an airline would want to be doing is leveraging the network of which they are affiliated.

Thanks for the feedback - I wont hold my breathe.

The thing I like about the CRK services from Tiger and Cebu Pacific and Jetstar is that it can avoid the 2-5 hour traffic journey from MNL to Pampanga. It is a bit of a juggling act to get the connecting services and always need a self-transfer to SQ, CX or QF. It's a trade off between total journey time, arrival times and of course price.

Cheers

Post your grievance on facebook. Maybe the social media team is better connected than your average phone customer service agent .... Or maybe not!

I give up on it. I bounced around a few different operators all with the same general answer "when it's available it will appear in your flight options"

What about booking via travel agent? I noticed expedia offer the connections via SIN on QF/3K, EK/3K and SQ/TR.

Thanks for this. I played with expedia and can see how it can work. Lots of choices to bounce through ICN, HKG, SIN. Playing with my brain.

Depending on the day of the week CX/KA can be an option. I've had a good connection in the past taking the red eye CX from SYD which connects nicely with KA to Clark in the morning. Not so good for the return though.

Yep, the CX connection works well also from BNE. On the days when the KA flight is not available, then switching to 5J works.
