I wonder what is happening by October to alleviate the 'issue'?
The lounge will be merged with the British Airways Lounge, permanently removing access to Qantas Club members. /s

Will be at Singapore the following week so not really looking forward to the overcrowded lounges.
BA have announced they're renaming their Lounge from Singapore Terraces to Singapore Galleries ....

Was there on Monday night (flying MH, left the lounge at 18:55) and it was crowded but not overcrowded - but there were empty seats side beside me at the table and when I adjourned to the more comfortable seating still quite a few empty pairs of seats (facing each other).
Any guesses what the two ala carte itmea were?
Maybe opening an F lounge... if only...I wonder what is happening by October to alleviate the 'issue'?
Anything official to back this rumour up?Qantas Club Members to be redirected to SATS during peak periods and until September according to Australian Business Traveller.

Not a rumour, it was a statement issued to us by Qantas, which is also the provenance of the QF spokesperson quotes in that article.
I may have missed it but where is/was the QF statement that was issued/sent to their actual paying customers....

The sooner QF rebuild a SIN F lounge the better.
At least for WP's, OWE's and F pax. I suspect SG's, J pax and QP members will have a degraded experience once that happens. No more bar service and no doubt degraded catering.
