Can a QC member guest someone into an AA domestic lounge who wasnt flying with them?
Flying SFO to LAX on a QF codeshare AA metal flight and my mother is leaving much later than me via Air NZ.

Pretty sure i know the answer (No) but thought i would check.

Lounge Access
AA website doesnt list guest policy for QC members but it does say family members for some of the membership types have access but doesnt say they need to be flying with me.
It does say "To enjoy lounge access, all guests must accompany you". But doesnt that just mean you need to enter with your guest and they leave when you do.
QF international lounge rules would obviously say the guest needs to be travelling with. But domestic rules which probably dont apply as its a partner lounge say guests dont need to be.

Thoughts or am i just bending rules to fit what i want here?

I think you're right - the answer is 'no'.

From the Qantas Club 'benefits' page->lounges it says this:

Partner Lounges
When travelling with American Airlines, as a Qantas Club member you and a guest are welcome at American Airlines Admirals Club lounges. Simply present your Qantas Club card together with your boarding pass at the lounge reception. Both you and your guest need to be travelling together further that day on a flight marketed^ and operated by the partner airline whose lounge you wish to visit.

Both you and guest must be on a flight marketed and operated by the AA (and/or QF). I wouldn't have been so concerned about the 'travelling with' bit... once you're in the lounge you're in the lounge... they're unlikely to find a guest and kick them out... but the travelling Air New Zealand seems to be the deal breaker.

Thanks heaps.
Guess I should know better than to try to bend rules to match what i want.
