Hi All
Just wondering if anybody has been on QR lately. If so what are the passenger loadings like. After the Middle East tantrums of late, I'm interested to get some idea. We are one trip to EDI from Silver, and I want to travel on the upper deck of the A380 out of Melb.

Both of my QR flights last month were 100% full. :!: In fact, one flight (DOH-CMB) was very heavily oversold.

I haven't flown them out of Australia, but I don't think the latest issues would be having too much impact on their Australia/Europe routes.

I'm jealous. I had to cancel my trip earlier in the year but had also booked upper deck Y but out of Syd. I don't think flights for your itinerary are really affected. Have been following things on twitter and there was an article from "the points guy" detailing things were fine flying through Doha. I think you'll have a great flight.

FWIW, I flew DOH-AKL in J recently and the J cabin was about 70% full. The Y cabin, from what I saw was similarly not that full.

However, I flew ADL-DOH a couple of weeks before that, and the flight was perhaps 95% full.

DOH airport seems to be as busy as ever.

Weekends and holidays in the Middle East would have effects on flight loadings that a typical westerner would not expect. Chinese holidays can be equally surprising. UL weekend loadings on the DOH-CMB seem a bit more sensitive than QR, but I would expect UL to be less expensive. When did you actually fly?

Happy wandering

It was around 5 weeks ago. DOH-CMB was a Friday evening flight, so that may have had something to do with it.
