Do Qantaslink flights open for seat selection at T80 like normal or is it at T24 when OLCI opens. Thanks

You cannot do seat selection on QFlink unless its the 717s with J, all others its a case of doing it as part of OLCI

Thanks markis,
this is a Q400 BNE - LRE for this weekend. Should guarantee rain for the outback cause I am going there, just my luck. Qantas museum and Outback hall of fame, cross those two off the bucket list.

Hi,

Just to let everyone know, it seems that advanced seat selection is now available on the pure cattle class QFlink 717 flights. I'm booked on PER to PHE in a couple of weeks and the later morning flight is a 717 single class.

I understand the two class birds introduced this a few months ago which makes sense. Is this single class advanced seat selection quite a recent change? I'm used the old T24 for QFlink flights as many would with only a window/aisle selection before that. I'll keep eye on things change again at T80. I suspect they might. Expert Flyer is working for this too.

I noticed the cattle class aircraft have all completed their reburb from 115 seats to 125 as well - awesome . I haven't flown on a 717 for around 12 months and was surprised to see regular seat selection available. I chose 1A but this maybe not the best choice anymore with the recent downgrade/upgrade. I must admit - I do like these planes - their performance on takeoff is great.

Looks like FF status rules are there too. Row 3 and back has quite a few seats selected already. There will be a lot of WPs on board this flight - not too may P1s though :D

Hope that helps.
