Qantaslink Regional Lounges

Work has started on a new QantasLink Regional Lounge at Coffs Harbour, due to open before the end of April. This is QantasLink's first regional lounge in NSW and I understand that they have a number of others planned .

I’ve wanted to fly into CFS for a while to see a friend (instead of driving). If there’s a lounge, would be all the better

I’ll wait for anyseat awards to earn SC though, seeing as I can get an award flight from Brisbane but not a paid flight from Brisbane (without going via Sydney).

Brindabella fly direct BNE - CFS; but not all that cheap! You do get points (no minimum so its about 300 points and NO SCs).

With 6 flights most days, I don't see it as a problem.

Nothing noted in the Qantas Club section of the website yet, you’d have thought they may want to advertise it.

I will post a photo soon; a casual observation noticed the leather lounges and carpet similar to the (partially) refurbed T2 in SYD.

I've been known to arrive with less than ten minutes to spare; not any more!!

5PM on the 5th of the 5th is the official opening of the new QC lounge at Coffs Harbour (that's next Thursday:!:). I'll try to take some photos and (for Nigelinoz) I'll ask about Albury!!!!

True; but those running the opening (& I am not one of them) will fly up to Coffs on an earlier flight and get to stay the night!

Good luck to them I say; and I hope QL are planning many more lounges throughout NSW. After all, why should the capitals have all the fun!!!!

I once spnet 8 hours at MKY between flights and did not realize there was a lounge there!
