I fly a non Citiflyer route as part of my routine at present.

HBA-MEL.

If I fly QF I dish out $6 for a wine....on VA I pay nothing.

I am plats on both.

On principle I will be flying VA more often!!

How simple is that!!!

But even when flying as a QPNB MEL-DPO or reverse in the early evening i get a complimentary glass of wine-and out of a bottle and always offered a refill. And VA dont even fly that route.

QF link props that is the case, however Jets regardless of mainline or QF link it's pay per drink non Citiflyer routes.

The CBR-SYD route must be too profitable for them to not to hand out a $2 bottle of wine!

Virgin gives me booze due to status, but qantas can't seem to do that, which is the point.

Look how hard it was for qantas to get priority boarding up and running? They find it hard to treat status differently in shared environments whereas other cultures do it effortlessly.

But Drron you are special. I am talking about ordinary people now!
Yes i should have known.Actually i am getting to know a couple of the FAs well by now-even before showing my BP it is "good to see you again drron"
Yes and i know it is a Qlink thing-though with the fares they charge on the DPO sector they can afford the wine service.;)
