Hi all,
Hope this is the right subforum for the question. I've got a trip from Perth to Buenos Aires in a few weeks. I'm currently booked on the Qantas redeye out of Perth, scheduled to land in Sydney around 6am with a connection to QF17 departing Sydney at 11am. I've made tighter connections in Sydney before, but I'm not sure whether to be concerned about the strike action and whether the Perth-Sydney redeye flight will be delayed or cancelled as a result.
Basically I'm wondering if any of the more frequent flyers in this community know whether certain flights are being affected more than others and whether it'd be worth changing my flights to arrive in Sydney earlier and spend the night there. It's something I'd prefer not to do unless absolutely necessary due to the cost of changing the ticket and then having to organise a hotel/transfers in Sydney for the night. I know nobody can answer this question definitively one way or the other, but some advice on whether or not I should be concerned about making the connection would be appreciated.
Thanks!
