I managed to get ~$5000 p/p all in for dates in May/June ex-PER.

Edit: to LHR

Aw c'mon need september-october availability.

Can't fly out until 3rd July (Mrs Paddy is a teacher) and so I miss out on this - thanks QF!

Still have reservations on MH in J on a 'partner' sale for $11.5K for two tix which is pretty damn good.

Not sure I can justify the extra $2K for SQ although I'd be interest in people's opinions of SQ vs MH J

But if you are a single, their J price was still about double that with SG when I checked yesterday.

In business class? I don't think so...

LOL of course they do have higher demand for J in school hols!, allbeit far far less than economy of course... The school my nephew goes to all jet off around the world in J (some even F) come school hols ;). i would guess some 10 year olds are higher status than me there!

BA just jumped on board with the QF 2-for-1 so it's now available in Club on BA flights to LON/FRA, though still on a companion basis

And once again single people get ignored. :(

My business flying is all Y corporate fares, the only time I fly J is for pleasure. I would love to have a couple of these fares to use for pleasure and maintaining status.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Maybe a cheap Y fare to the USA and some KUPP/YUPP's would end up much cheaper and better $/SC

Not sure if you're joking or not...

Not my experience. Lounges and aircraft and J cabins much emptier during school holidays. Not having kids personally, I'm not really aware of when the school holidays roll around until I get to the airport :-|

Many 'single' travellers here. Perhaps we should open the floor to people who want to "tag-team" in for a J deal?

It seems that these fares do not qualify for upgrade requests (even though the booking engine says that they are "business saver" and when you click on the description link the pop-up page says that it is eligible to be upgraded).
