Qantas reduces PVG frequency

QANTAS during the month of May and June 2013 is reducing Sydney – Shanghai Pu Dong service, where overall operation being reduced from daily to 6 weekly. Airbus A330-300 operates this route. Planned service reduction period as follow:


01MAY13 – 12MAY13 Day x2
13MAY13 – 20MAY13 Day x1
05JUN13 – 14JUN13 Day x4


QF129 SYD0925 – 1825PVG 333
QF130 PVG1955 – 0835+1SYD 333

That makes sense. I had an award booking SYD-PVG in J as the start of a 280k RTW. QF cancelled the leg and put my onto the following days service, which didn't help. Called them up and requested to jump on QF127 then connect through to PVG on KA, which they happily complied with.
