And thanks for the offer to 'Assist me to selecting my gift' - no need - I already selected:

Hold on, you can select a $350 bottle of wine as a gift??

So, if you are a wine lover this could make the card appealing for the first year!
Not quite correct - 3 botts in the pack so total value $1,047.00.

But this card is not appealing - start at Post 1 and read through - this card pooh hooed but every man and his dog!
Ooooh. So how do I get this freebie?
Well best way is to jump into bed tonight and start dreaming - I am sure it might come to you.

That benefit right there makes this card now a good deal to me, hopefully it's still around when I hit the income requirement (or they drop it a few 10k's :p)
Kids kids kids - don’t get too excited - my post may have been less than sincere - in fact it may have been quite tongue in cheek

Looks like as long as you never hold a titanium card before, you are eligible for the bonus points.

150,000 bonus Qantas Points offer is available to new approved Qantas Premier Titanium credit card account holders who apply by 11.59pm Sydney Time 28 August 2019.

As a sole trader, if you get this card to pay business expenses, is the annual fee tax deductible?

What about for the proportion that's business use? ie you get a supplementary specifically to put through your business transactions to deduct the same % of the AF as your business spend as represented by the transactions on that supp?

College fees are due soon. Is this the biggest sign on bonus currently going around? Other qantas platinum cards are up to 120k points but it sounds like a pain to actually get them to pay out.

Would the 20% status credit bonus stack with DSC promotions? I'd imagine not but some websites seem to suggest it does.

I would expect so since they are a bonus associated with the card rather than a promotion that might conflict with the double status credit promotion.

Strike out my first thought - looks like its covered in the T+C's.

5.6. Bonus Status Credits are not available in conjunction with other Status Credit promotions.

Hi guys does anyone have this card ?
What are your thoughts on it ?

Is the 2ppd for overseas spend really uncapped ? That alone makes it fairly attractive for me.

Still deciding whether attractive enough to offset that annual fee though hmmm.

I've never flown paid F before and even paid J not for a long time.

I have never really considered this card because of the high annual fee. I am sure the 2ppd for overseas transactions would have to be balanced against the overseas transaction costs; and 150k points is not that much for such a hefty fee. I think this card is aimed more at people who want to show off with a swanky metal card than those who are trying to maximise points.

Curious to hear anyone's experiences with this card.

Does it live up to the hype?

20% bonus SC apparently doesn't count towards P1 or lifetime. Is this actually the case in practice?
