Hi everyone,

Wanted to know if anyone has experience as a No Show for business class tickets and how the refund process works?

If you are a No show, does Qantas refund the full price of the ticket?

Are there any costs associated with No Show?

I looked at terms and conditions and all their fare charges and it seems that there is no penalty for business class domestic tickets and it is fully refundable.

Cheers

Why would you no show?

Surely if you know you are not going to take the flight then the polite and ethical thing to do would, be to call and cancel. Who knows, some one may desperately need that seat on that Flight.

To me IMHO a deliberate no show is just rude and a sad sign of the state of the worlds ethics and morals.

Rant over :D

And yes Business class fares are fully refundable even when no showing!

Thanks Ansett.

Sometimes life is overwhelming and multiple factors combine together to make the perfect storm.

Don't intend to no show but good to know that the price you pay for a business class ticket 'protects' you from all eventualities.

Think outside your 'box'... MANY circumstances can occur/prevent someone from flying after they have checked in (refer to the check in window)... accidents/emergencies occur... and maybe the LAST thing on some ones mind is contacting the airline to cancel their booking

Under the radar I completely agree with you that sometimes circumstances take over and notifying an airline would be low on the priority list. My comments were in relation to a DELIBERATE no show as clearly stated in my post.
