Qantas New Partner - BP

I got those too. I don't think they're part of BP. I think the promo status credits is actually an adjustment in the system to make vaccination SCs count for lifetime (for those that claimed earlier when they didn't count)

I filled up my car with petrol just before lockdown.

Have had zero chance of driving it during lockdown !

Sadly, this offer will probably expire on me.

Tried to open the BPme app to activate - apparently it's down for scheduled maintenance..!

Might be targeted I guess, but even though I never fill up at BP because they're always amongst the most expensive stations where I live and never have discounts aligned with supermarkets or gift voucher sellers, I did make the effort to go to one, used their free tyre pressure hose to check my tyres and then went in the shop and bought a single packet of eclipse spearmint mints for $3.50 and scanned my QFF card. Even the cashier was amazed when the receipt came out and said I'd earned 1,003 Qantas points on it. He said "wow, how'd you get 1000 points just for that?"

Just received this offer instead - triple Qantas Points on fuel, snacks and essentials

Usually I don’t bother with these offers as BP are the dearest petrol prices around.
Same. Paying a (much) higher price for fuel just to get the points is a mug's game. The price of the fuel will always be worth more than the $ value of the points you get even at 5x

Actually the BP 98ron prices locally are the best I have seen in quite a while. The discounters are two cents less per liter (only after some partner discounts) but with multipliers at BP the points are cheaper than those earned by status run flying.
And no wandering
