Qantas New Partner - BP

Nothing here, but I'm mid 2x/3x/5x promo over 3+ refuels & shops.

Filled up 2L each day for the first 2 days to knock over the 2x/3x parts, am now on 5x points (10 points per litre for U98) until 12 Jan.

Mrsdrron is partaking of some of the other promotions and she didn't get the 750 points promo_Obviously targetting those who haven't been active.
PS the AFF gremlins are active and inserting a smiley.Have deleted it 3 times but still present.

My offer doesn't read that way. Ts & Cs state "Offer limited to one activation and only 3 transactions"

Hmm I may have misread. I've only used the 5x once so far, I will let you know what happens on my next refuel!

Unfortunately the claiming of my missing 10SC from the Platinum newsletter is not going particularly smoothly. Apart from being addressed as Mrs twice now by the person responding to my email (which is not the right salutation for this Mr) they're also not filling me with confidence by now claiming they need to send my evidence to BP for review, given that the awarding of the 10SC should hinge only on whether I earned >=100 points from BP over that month. This shouldn't need BP's input at all.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

My first offer of 2021:
To earn up to 300 bonus Qantas Points, simply activate your offer, then visit bp and spend $50 or more on fuel. Choose BP Ultimate 98 and you’ll earn 300 bonus Qantas Points or enjoy 150 bonus Qantas Points when you fill up with any of our other fuels. Be quick, this offer ends 19 January 2021!

Not sure. I fill up when I run low, and it's a country station so not a lot of discounting. It all looks cheap compared with this time last year!

Well running around in an I-30 having filled up yesterday to get 5X points and never putting premium fuel into a rental car there is no way i could fit $50 of cheaper unleaded into the tank.

There were no offers in my case for a few weeks, at least 4.
Then yesterday, I decided to get some munchies, (I don't drive, so no need for fuel itself), then today, I get the offer as mentioned above.
Seems that to elicit offers, we have to make the first move, ie, buy something to get them to make an offer, just my presumption, might be wrong.
Am waiting for the other offer to come for this new year, ie, spend $10 and get bonus points sort of offer, where it does not have to be fuel.
**With the opposition airline now stopping the VGW card, this BP and QFF offer is a good way to keep QFF points active. points go into my QFF account very fast... seems that QFF is really trying to win our hearts over! Of course, BP and QFF do get our revenue spends.**

6 points per litre for 98 is a good deal when the fuel price cycle is low, but BP really need to do something more to entice in store spend.

I make a point of swapping my empty Sodastream canisters (which seem to have a set price regardless of retailer) at Coles Express when they have Flybuys promos on in-store spend. In recent memory they've run both 20 points per $ and 500 points for $10 spend, wish BP would do something similar.

Enjoy triple Qantas Points on every visit to bp until 26 January 2021
With Sydney prices at their peak and unlikely to decline much by Jan 26 if at all this is a very unattractive offer for those of us who only need to fill up every 2 to 3 weeks.

Glad I managed to fill up last night before prices shot up by more than 20 cents...
