Qantas double points promotion [Book by 23/1/17 for travel 1/2/17-7/1/18]

Qantas is currently running a double points promotion for all bookings made between 19-23rd Jan to all destinations on all travel classes. Not targeted but will need registration for each traveller.
Does anyone know whether if I made a booking throughout the travel agent during the promotional period but booking is not paid for before the 23rd whether I still qualify for the double points?

If the PNR was created during the promotion period then you should be OK.

Don't get caught by the fine print...it only applies to Qantas operated flights.

Which does make me feel better about the MXP-BNE return I booked yesterday which only has one QF operated flight out of 6...

I'm holding out hoping for a Double SC promotion. I value DSC much more than Double Points.

I realise I may be left with neither, but I can easily make up for points I've missed out on through e.g. credit card sign up bonus promotions.

Can an agent create a new PNR for an existing booking without cancelling it? I assume if I have it cancelled, the sale fares I have booked may not be returned to the same inventory.

If you want a new PNR then old PNR has to be cancelled first.

Looking to book flights for Dec/Jan, the return date will JUST open in time! Have to see what price I can wrangle first though. I'm accruing points for a very specific goal so a nice double-up on return J-fares to Europe with 3 QF legs sounds fantastic.

RE: the earlier question, sometimes it must be ticketed during the promotional period so be wary.

Yesterday I received and offer of 50% more SC on flights booked until 24th Jan for travel to 18 May.
Looking at booking a trip in April and the double points bonus is a win win thought the T&C state "This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other bonus offer by Qantas. Only one bonus Qantas Points offer can be used per individual qualifying segment of your itinerary. If you qualify for multiple offers, the offer first-registered for will be applied to each individual qualifying segment."

Not 100% clear both offers would be credited, guess I better book and find out
