I booked one of those Classic Oneworld Award tickets. On the last leg of the trip right now, all was good so far.
That was until I had to change the date for the last segment of my flight. It should be straight forward.
The availability was there, I rang up Qantas to change the date, I saw it on my booking and that should have been that.
However, the segment has been canceled no less than 3 times, after which each time it has happened, I had to ring up Qantas to get them to reinstate the ticket again, as once the ticket is canceled those award flights are up for grabs again and if someone else takes them, well that can be tricky.
Each time I ring, the CSR agent is puzzled as to why the segment is cancelled. I tell them to talk to the OneWorld guys as they need to talk to Iberia for re-ticketing that segment.
Now, I find out that the last time it was held, they put in the wrong month. So the flight that I wanted to be on in a few week time was actually yesterday..... So, they then put in another segment totally breaking the rules for the award ticket, without cancelling out the other segment that I never flew on nor knew about. At this stage they should just create a new booking for me and give me those J seats, it would be easier for them, as they can't seem to get it together to do something relatively simple.
Can I contact that CSR team in Hobart as they seemed to be the only people that know that they were doing.
Is there a Qantas Rep on here, can they help me out?
