Qantas 747 Row 43

Hi all

Just would like an opinion please on row 43 on the Qantas 747 3 Class lay out in Y are these good seats for Y or are there better options for a couple travelling together?

Flight is MEL-HKG-MEL

I'm a big fan of row 43. The leg room is good and you can get in and out of the window without really disturbing the people closer to the aisle. You also get the nice little mini-cabin at the front of Y.





For a couple the only other seats I would consider on the 747 (other than an exit row) would be the seat pairs by the window from around row 69 back.

You learn something every day, as I didn't think the three class 747 went past row 8 downstairs.

Excellent seats in row 43. Had a couple of flights last month where I was in 43H and on first flight someone in 43K and for the return had 3 seats to myself.

I try to route via HKG where possible to be on the 747 and avoid the A330.
