This happened today. Previously no problem logging into our QF accounts on my 5 year old non upgraded iMac and 3 year old non upgraded Mac Air.

I can log into our QF accounts on my iMac but when I log into accounts on my Mac Air I'm having a strange problem. It logs in and shows the name of member and #of points in the top right hand corner as per usual but when I try to get into My Account another log-in appears. If I log-in to that it just comes back to log-in again. In the meantime the name of the member and # of points is still in the top right hand corner.

I have tried logging out, logging back in. Shutting down the computer and restarting. Deleting history and cache etc. Nothing solves the problem.

Has anyone else had this problem? I conclude that it must be something of a glitch with my Mac Air but I'm so non tech I really don't know what to do.

If someone can help me I'd really appreciate it. I've run out of ideas to try.

Thanks very much.

Try checking "Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and Website Data"
I have mine set to "Allow from websites I visit" and QF pages work fine

Thanks for your reply. I have checked what you suggested. It works well on my iMac not on my Mac Air. This only happened today. I was logging in OK yesterday.

I still have the same problem today. Tried everything I can think of. If I rang Qantas, do they have tech guys who could help me? or is this a job for a local Mac software guy? Very frustrating.

Thanks very much Red Roo. We still haven't solved the problem but the Qantas guys are working on it.

If I find a solution I'll post it. I intend to get to it fixed. Would be interesting to see if there are anymore people out there who have had this problem and how they solved it or not.

I've had a slight variation, not 100% refusal to log in. But I have had limited periods of not letting me log in. I've also experienced being logged in, as indicated by name top right of website. But then being prompted to login if trying to see account summary.
Safari, Mac Air, Not sure which OS - but at least the version before Yosemite

Did your problem of prompting to log in if trying to see account summary resolve itself automatically or did you manage to solve it yourself. If so, do you remember how you did it? I'm now several days into not being able to login successfully.

The not logging in at all resolved itself. When prompted to re-login, I either login again and it works. or I just shut the browser and start again.

I wish mine was as simple. Log in just does not work on my Mac Air however many times I try or clear cookies etc, shut down, reboot. I have made sure updates are OK too. I still haven't heard back from the tech guys at Qantas so presume they don't have an answer for me either. So next step is to consult a Mac professional.

Finally got the problem fixed.

Seems that there was a conflict between the time on the computer and the zone. This all started after a flight from LAX to BNE. The zone was set on Charleston and the time was BNE.

Our computer guy had never seen this before.
