Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has had any experiences with Premium and First Class Luggage - Home : PremiumLuggage ?

The website looks pretty poor (very "template-based") and I've even found some spelling mistakes on the front page  but their prices are about the best I can find, and they apparently allow pick up in Sydney CBD (though not sure if you need to pay online first - need to check tomorrow).

I'm looking at a Victorinox Werks Traveller-20 3.0 which they have for $219. Myer etc.. have it for $579 and the best price I've seen elsewhere online is about $349. $219 doesn't seem too ridiculously cheap, given it can be had for ~$150 in the States, but it's the cheapest I can find in Australia.

Anyone had any experience with them? I've used LuggageDirect before who are great, but they don't seem to stock Victorinox. Nor do DJ's (who usually price match), and my nearest Myer don't have the bag in Black.

Looking at picking up this bag for a 5 day int'l trip next week. Also if anyone knows how the suiter is supposed to work, I'd love to hear it! I understand the foam keeps the suit from creasing too much, but I can't see how the suit attaches to the suiter - there's no hanging attachment.

Appreciate any help :)

Cheers,

No experience here, but have the Victorinox and a good piece of kit it is.

Good price for Aus, I paid the same at Macys. Let us know how you get on.

Thanks, will do. I was close to buying it when I was in the US a few months ago. Should've! Oh well.

Just did a bit more digging and found out the Sydney store they're affiliated with is a few minutes from work, and has the same prices on their website, so I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if I can pop down.

Cheers,

Nice guys and very, very helpful, but unfortunately they were out of stock when I was there.

Luckily I found another place just down the road from home (Luggage Professionals - Melbourne - Sydney) who were happy to match the price. I think I've found my new favourite luggage store. Really nice guy (I presume he was the owner), very friendly, and great prices (even their regular prices on the WT-20 was pretty good).

Loving the WT-20 too, and all I've done is pack it. :D Really solid build, and really smart design (suiter, luggage strap etc..)

One question for Sprucegoose or anyone who has a Werks Traveller - what's the point of the 360˚ handle if it locks in place?

I can see the benefit of a freely spinning handle, but it seems you need to press the button down to get it to spin? Not sure I really get it...seems no different to any other roll-aboard handles to me. I mean I get that you can lock it in one of two positions, but a lot of reviews have talked about how the handle makes "turning corners" much easier, and I can't really see it. Maybe it's just designed so that you have two positions to choose from?

Apart from that though, great bag. :)
