Currently on the latest (55.0.2) but this issue has been occurring for a while. Also occurs on a different computer, but FF as well. Does not occur all the time. Maybe 50% of the time. After replying to a post and clicking submit, the following pop-up occurs. Clicking "leave page" causes the post to actually post correctly.

A few people (including me) are experiencing this on other browsers too.

I get the issue but only on slow / poor Internet connections.

It has not been relevant to any specific browser.

This has been the case for some years.

It is most notable for me while surfing using data tethering when commuting on a train. Post just as going though a cutting / underpass / tunnel and stuff can happen.

Are you referring to JohnKs double posting issue or the issue I raised? Two separate manifestations (possibly same underlying bug).

The issues are often interrelated.

It happens with both Chrome and Firefox.

I rarely browse using IE/edge and more rarely safari.

If I see the about to leave question I cancel, copy my post (ctrl+A, ctrl+C) then hit refresh.

My new post is generally there.

If not I simply repost using the scratch pad paste.
