PointSavers Reward for redemption.

​Hi Guys,

I m fairly new to marriott points redemption, just want to know where can I find redemption for

PointSavers Reward as this saves signaficantly cheaper.
I m a gold member for marriott, if I use points redeemption for hotels will I still get room upgrade on arrival (marriott seems very generous with suite upgrade).

Hi mate,

For example, take the Turnberry in Miami here: https://www.marriott.com.au/hotels/...e-miami-autograph-collection/?clusterCode=MW1

Choose the date of this friday and make sure Use Points is ticked.

On the next page you will see it has 40,000 points stroked out and shows 35,000 (i.e. you save 5000 points)

So to be able to book for pointsaver rewards, it has to be one of the hotels listed on the page you provided (sorry cant post link at the moment), correct?

Yes, those are the ones that are 'advertised' but in theory you may 'see' other ones when you are looking at properties as a property could offer a discount ...but it will show the normal points with a strikethrough demonstrating how much you save.

like all upgrades ...too many factors out of your control! property may or may not decide ...there may or may not be availability; you may or may not be platinum etc. etc.
