Guidance sought. Planning a trip to NZ from Aus on QF flight no. and noticed that Red e-deal fares may not be upgradeable using points.

Is there a way to determine which ones are upgradeable? Or is the fact that JetConnect is the Operating airline mean that none are?

Don't want to waste money on the e-deal if I can't upgrade. The Sale fares are very good value at the moment and if there is no benefit of them over e-deal I'll grab one of them.

Cheers in advance.

QF only operate 737's across the ditch so you may want to reconsider how much bang for buck you are getting, unless it's lounge access and other benefits you are after.

When they start code sharing the A380 from emirates.... Now that's a different story

Yeah, thanks - I get that. However it's more for the missus, points are relativity cheap to upgrade (16k each leg?), and ASAs are now off the radar so what else to use them for?

When you see the fares in the results table, click on the fares rules at the top of each column to see if they are upgradeable. In my experience the red edeals or not and the sale fares are upgradeable to NZ on Jetconnect.
