But for me, I still fly a lot of Y - in fact, a lot of discount Y for that matter.

Lots of it got me to QF WP, and our university keeps a fairly strict best fare of the day policy.

I'd like to fly more J and F - but it sure as hell ain't cheap - cash or points! Well, someone has to pay for all those flat seats and caviar and such. On the other hand, short flights seem hardly worth it, and as long as I have WP or SG, I get lounge access, priority baggage, premium check-in and a chance for upgrades (points and op-ups). Suits me just fine.

The only time I travel is if I pay for it, so I will be in Y for a looonng time.

Actually now I think about it I have never flown anything but Y, I have nice memories of an Air NZ flight where I had a row of 3 seats all to me, a blanket, pillows, movies and icecream, but that was a tad unsual

That's true why do you have to spend to much. A lot of people now have no enough money. Why not save it or give it to orphan.

There is a lot of generous people here, just look at the threads relating to bush fires and also look at that winetraveller organised in BOS in support of the bush fires. These people who do travel J/F support such things very well i think you will find.
