Perth International Transit Lounge hours

Hi all

Flying SYD to LHR via PER next week and have arranged an earlier SYD to PER flight to spend some time working and relaxing in the new lounge before the LH over the ocean. Just looked though and in the Qantas app, it shows that lounge only opening 2 hours prior the the departure time. Is that accurate? Will my Qantas Gold still allow me access to another lounge in Perth in the meantime while waiting for the new one to open?

You should have access to the Domestic lounge while you wait for it to open.

At the very least the Qantas Club lounge. However, I think you might get access to the domestic business class lounge as they is what they use for other international flights out of Perth.

Yes - I flew on QF9 in J last week, (connecting from SYD) and the doors to international transit remained shut until 2 hours prior to departure. There was no signage or staff on hand to let you know when the doors might be open so I just sat there like a lemon instead of backtracking to the domestic lounge.
