Only a handful return flight available for selection when there is a stopover in SIN

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help me with my question regarding MEL to CGK in April

When I search for multi city, MEL > CGK, CGK > SIN (stopover for bout 13 days), then finally SIN > MEL. The last leg will have limited options (e.g. I can't choose SQ 237 across multiple fares)

However when I choose, MEL > CGK (return) without stopover, SQ 237 is available for selection for the return trip (Eco Flexi Saver and Flexi available).

Going one step further, I tried MEL to SIN (return) and again Flexi Saver and Flexi are available for me to choose.

Any idea? Thanks in advanced

Ring SIA, explain and they should
help and still apply the15% discount.

Thanks TiredOldFlyer but forgot to mention that I was trying to purchase the ticket (not redeeming awards flight)...

I would assume that it's "fare bucket" or "fare rule" related (attaching to your outbound selection).

Worth a call.

Might be a married segment issue - the through fare for some origin/destination combinations can be restricted to maximise revenue on individual sectors (or v.v.). The call centre should be able to advise you.
