One world status benefits on KA & CX flights

As a QF Silver / OW Ruby member im travelling on some Dragon Air flights over Christmas and likely Cathey early next year.

Marco Polo Club Benefits - Cathay Pacific

Just interested to know if those carry over to the matching OW status tiers.
Specifically interested in those the silver marco polo members get which matches if i understand correctly to QFF Silver / OW Ruby
- Lounge Access
- Priority Boarding
- business checkin
- priority luggage
- Priority extra legroom seating.

Those are some nice perks especially that they offer lounge access to Silver / Ruby members.
Or is it that if the home airline doesnt have it the partner isnt giving it to you even if their members get it.
Any thoughts and experiences would be greatly appreciated.

The benefits you have highlighted are specific to CX(KA) Silver and should not be read as extending to OW passengers. Lounge access, priority boarding and priority luggage do not extend to OW silver (ruby) pax.

CX(KA) honour all other published OW benefits and privileges, with an added bonus that they give free exit row seating to all OW elites... including silver/ruby! (which is a pretty sweet deal!)

Marco Polo benefits are not the same as OW benefits. You won't get lounge access. The only thing on your list that you'll get is Business check-in. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

In a few weeks I'm transiting HKG; coming in on CX (business), heading out on KA (economy). I assume as a OW Emerald I'll be able to use CX F lounges as usual? Only reason I ask is that I've just noticed that KA has its own lounge at HKG and wonder if they might make one use that if a KA passenger?

The Dragonair lounge (G16) is currently closed for refurbishment, but in any event you could use any of the CX lounges.
