It's in everything from Breakfast to dinner, salty as all hell and the overall taste is bloody ordinary. Let's get creative QF and get rid of this.

Rant over...;)

I love a good chorizo but understand it isn't to all tastes.

So what should be used instead?

Sent from my GT-I9100 using AustFreqFly

I'm happy for it to go (not very healthy) but understand the lovers will easily win this argument ;)

How about the spicy packet of nuts and things if you don't like the sausages....we need to cover off everything!

I quite like chorizos! :)

And today I think I have had the worst snack ever on Qantas. I think it was a scone. It was square/rectangular shape. The packaging was huge for such a small item and it came with some jam and tasteless sour cream and a plastic knife also included in the packaging.

Gotta love the 'refreshment/snack' flights on Qantas! I've scored that recently on MEL-BNE and SYD-MEL.

Gotta say the mid afternoon/mid morning snacks seem to be getting worse again at the moment... c'mon Red Roo, do something! :)

Sounds like a horrible flight!
Flight was OK at it was an international configuration A332 which is much better than the 738's and 734's they have been dumping onto my flights.

Seriously Qantas can save some money by doing away with some of these snacks if that is all they are going to offer.

The Almonds and Wasabi pea snack was fine.

It really is just the general fatty, salty taste of the chorizo that does it. OK every so often but in every meal on every flight (Y), no thanks.

I agree.
Drop the airfare by ~$5 and do away with the 'snack'. 3 water thin wafers and a 30ml olive dip just isn't worth it on a SYD-BNE flight. Eat in the lounge before hand.

Nothing can be worse than that Pizza abomination they serve on long haul. The smell is just revolting, I thought my passenger had brought up something!

I quite enjoyed my crumbly scone as a light afternoon treat along with a cup of tea...
After i had consumed it, i noticed the expiry date of the scones have about 5 months shelf life.
Talk about preservatives!
