NZ175/176 aircraft change

Hi guys. Have noticed over the last few days NZ175 has flown over my house on final into Perth as a 767 instead of the usual 777. Was curious as to what happens to all the folks that pay for premium economy only to get on board to find there is no such thing in the 767's. I would imagine that would be a quick way to annoy more than just a few people.
